Here’s a transcription of the video where one of the Cossack atamans, Kozitsyn Mykola Ivanovych, discredits himself and gives orders to kill people, promises to transfer weapons and supplies on the territory of Ukraine from Russia and mentions that there are people standing above him. From this point goes the video transcription.
Narrator: The Security Service of Ukraine continues collecting data on Russian Federation and its connection with the saboteur and terrorist activity in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Materials we received prove that Russian Federation has direct influence on destabilizing current situation in Ukraine. Their aim is to create so called “controlled chaos” in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. According to Kremlin, this strategy should help to continue the international expansion policy regarding Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries that is based on threats and force. Russian side uses the near border territories and the occupied Crimean territory to send well-trained and armed gunmen, weapon and equipment on the territory of Ukraine. Paramilitary Cossack structures are used to cover the influence of Russian special forces on the current processes in Ukraine. Technically this brought the principles of the federal law About the State Service of Russian Cossacks, that was adopted in 2005, into action.
Putin: Today’s patriotism is very important for promoting the ideas of deep country believes in the minds of our people in general. In this sense Cossacks play unique and very positive role. As for the Cossacks self-organization, you do know that we support it. We have the corresponding normative documents including the president enactments and we are going to continue doing that further on. And what Cossacks do is a totally acceptable and natural thing. The only thing that is important is to do this job in the terms of law in close contact with the law enforcement. But I think that in some cases Cossacks are even more effective than the law enforcement.
Cossack authority: We are always ready to move. We have been notified and it won’t take long for us to mobilize our forces and leave for Ukraine in the required quantity and direction.
Narrator: One of the first-hand organizers and coordinators of the terrorist actions is Kozitsyn Mykola Ivanovych, a citizen of Russian Federation. He is also known as ataman of the international unity of the public associations The Great Don Army. Mykola Kozitsyn is directly responsible for forming separate terrorist groups on the territory of Ukraine. He also provides them with the weapon and sends on the territory of Ukraine.
Conversations #1: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: The moment I appear there, you get out and form a corridor.
Terrorist: Is this is the place you just named?
Kozitsyn: Korolevka.
Terrorist: When do we have to be there?
Kozitsyn: We will be there at 3 or 4 AM, our time [Moscow time]. Make a corridor by placing [the gunmen] on your left and on your right.
Terrorist: Got it. Yes, sir.
Conversations #2: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: Send all of them through the corridor. Pleshaki on our side, Korolevka – on yours. Do you know where it is?
Terrorist: Aha.
Kozitsyn: Call him, hook him and make a corridor. We are moving on you. That’s all.
Terrorist: Got it.
Kozitsyn: And we also need you to prepare a bus on your side. Get the job done!
Conversations #3: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Terrorist: Greetings sir ataman! This is sub-yesaul Haltsev speaking. We are at the place already. Took the block post under control. I set the guards. Everything is fine.
Kazitsyn: Well done!
Terrorist: I have a question for you: there are two more groups… what is going on with them? Are they going to come? Should we wait?
Kazitsyn: Who?
Terrorist: Two more groups… preOk (meaning Cossacks who leave near the river of Oka) and from St. Petersburg?
Kazitsyn: They will use the route I need.
Terrorist: I got it. That’s all I wanted to know.
Notification message:
“The border service of Russian FSB in Rostov region does not confirm the fact of illegal breaking through the Russian-Ukrainian border.”
Narrator: Unfortunately, messages alike have became traditional reaction of Russian border guards on claims coming from Ukrainian side regarding the illegal breaking of the National border.
After groups have been successfully sent to Ukraine, Kozitsyn performs a tactical coordination of the groups in organizing terrorist acts, provides financial support, additional weapon and ammo supplies.
Conversations #4: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: They say that there is a fuel storage not far from you.
Terrorist: The army one?
Kozitsyn: Well, yes. We need to make it disappear.
Terrorist: I got you.
Conversations #5: Kozitsyn with Terrorist (starting with this conversation terrorists will use code language for conspiracy purposes)
Terrorist: Mykola Ivanovych, the “grandmother is here.”
Kozitsyn: Is everything ok?
Terrorist: Yes.
Kozitsyn: God bless! Thanks a lot, Sergey. Give my best regards to the personnel. Everything will be the way it has to be. I will call you back later and discuss the details. And will also send you the “papers” (money) there. Got it?
Terrorist: Got it. Thank you.
Kozitsyn: Divide them between yourself properly.
Terrorist: By all means!
Conversations #6: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: Sergey! I sent you the “pipes” (grenade launchers), “oars” (AK-74 assault rifles), “suillus” (bullets), everything. Got it?
Terrorist 1: I got it. I will pass a phone to the group commander.
Terrorist 2: Greetings, sir ataman! Haltsev speaking.
Kozitsyn: Hello! I know about the situation. I will send you 50 men. Actually, they just left.
Terrorist 2: Mykola Ivanovych, listen to me, please!
Kozitsyn: Ah?
Terrorist 2: Mykola Ivanovych, I have no idea how to fight here. It’s a total chaos. You need to get us out of here or else… I don’t know.
Conversations #7: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: Mykola Ivanovych, what is current situation on the equipment?
Terrorist: In general, “big pipes” (grenade launchers), two “big syringe” (Large Caliber machineguns) and “small hummers” (AK-74 assault rifles). And all the rest we have on our hands.
Kozitsyn: They just called me from there: there is a horrible fight going on in Sloviansk. Mykola Ivanovych, check everything one more time. If something’s wrong, I will see what we have on the other “trench”. I will send people and you will meet somewhere. You need to strike them from behind. Maybe, you can move out and attack them from the “pipes” (grenade launchers). I will try to find something for you.
Conversations #8: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: How are you, Mykhailo Yuriyovych?
Terrorist: Everything’s quiet here but in Sloviansk… You have to know.
Kozitsyn: Try to send somebody there to those guys, in the “Chicken Coop”. And try to get everything you can and everything you find. Also try strike them in the back from the nearest [hideout].
Terrorist: Ok, Mykola Ivanovych, ok. We will do that right now.
Kozitsyn: Do that and send the guys. And I will solve the problem here and if something happens – I will open the border and will “Move Forward!”
Terrorist: Ok, got it.
Conversations #9: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: So, did you manage to reach the guy in “Chicken Coop”?
Terrorist: Well, we try to do that but… here’s the thing…
Kozitsyn: Tell them to call in! There are clashes in Sloviansk, people are dying! While the fights are in progress they hid there! I will vanish them all personally! Tell them that! Tell them that “army ataman ordered to pass all the weapon to Cossacks that are going to march on the formation!”
Terrorist: I’ve told them already, Mykolayovych. They are getting closer right now. Some of them left already. Our [gunmen] also left with all they had. Right now we are strengthening our block posts.
Kozitsyn: Fortify your block posts but also remember that we need to gather storming groups. Call “Petya-Afghan” and let him create storming groups 11 men each. Then, let him send them behind enemy lines and attack [Ukrainian positions] from behind. Mykola Ivanovych will be there soon and will bring the “pipes” (grenade launchers).
Terrorist: Ok.
Kozitsyn: Go and form the subunits and take those hiding in the schools out. Take everyone! Give everything you have! I will send you more.
Conversations #10: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: Sergey, it’s me again. How is it going?
Terrorist: Everyting’s fine. The group is on the move already.
Kozitsyn: God bless you! Sergey, fuck them on the left and right. Do not stop! Got it? I want to see the vengeance fire! Listen, you need to reward everyone who either shot down a helicopter or burned an APC with a medal.
Terrorist: Will be done, Mykola Ivanovych, got it.
Kozitsyn: That’s all. And I’m waiting for “big boom.”
Narrator: The manner of speaking shows the moral qualities of Kozitsyn. It is important to mention that a major part of the recorded episodes is filled with curse language and that is why it can’t be shared. In lots of cases it is impossible to transcribe Kozitsyn’s words because of a very bad diction caused by alcohol. By the way, the biggest achievement of the self-declared general at the military service was a praporshchik rank (it’s something more than a soldier but not an actual officer) and a position of warden in one of the establishments of penitentiary service in Rostov region. The end of his carrier was not perfect either. He was fired for faults that discredit the officer rank.
Kozitsyn considers himself to be a religious person but it does not stop him from giving orders on killing people.
Conversations #11: Kaozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: Sasha, guys from Shahtarsk and Torez just came to me. Alert around 30 of your armed people and I will send you two groups of special forces. There is some kind of fag out there… he is a businessman and is working for the Right Sector and supports them financially. He also has a cinema, business and etc. Check the situation, burn his [business] and shoot him.
Terrorist: I got it.
Kozitsyn: They say that they have hidden somewhere at the end of the village.
Terrorist: I got it. We will solve the problem.
Kozitsyn: Solve the problem and shoot him!
Narrator: The next few episodes prove that Kozitsyn is not a single person in the scheme. The kidnapping of the OSCE representatives on May 29 was organized on his order by the terrorists based on the direct request coming from Moscow. Now we can expect so “heroic” saving missions from the Russian side.
Conversations #12: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Terrorist: Comrade General! My guys stopped a column of OSCE observers. What should we do with them?
Kozitsyn: Let them wait for now. I will ask the command what to do next and will let you know.
Terrorist: Yes sir.
Conversations #13: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Kozitsyn: Lyosha, here’s the command: gather all their documents, find them a room but without any sharp objects and set the guards. Hide the car in some kind of garage so that no one could see it. Got it?
Terrorist: Yes, I got it.
Kozitsyn: This command came from the highest authorities. Got it?
Terrorist: Yes, I got it.
Kozitsyn: Give them something to eat and drink, whatever the God sends. Afterwards, higher command will talk about them on the highest levels.
Conversations #14: Kozitsyn with Terrorist
Terrorist: Liaison officer just called from Ihor (meaning the Russian federation citizen Ihor Hirkin aka “Shooter”). He asked to tell you that… you have 4 OSCE observers in captivity. If you can, he asks you to let them go. This is what they asked me to tell you.
Kozitsyn: Seryozha, I have the people I have, do you understand? They told that even the “First” knows about it and you do not have to do anything. Tell me that they know what is going on in Bilokaminka. We already offered money and else for them.
Terrorist: Got it.
Kozitsyn: Tell Ihor that everything is alright there, everything was discussed.
Terrorist: (laughing) Got it!
Putin: And what Cossacks do is a totally acceptable and natural thing. The only thing that is important is to do this job in the terms of law in close contact with the law enforcement. But I think that in some cases Cossacks are even more effective than the law enforcement.
